Major Crash Investigators are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged hit and run overnight.
Around 12:00am an Aboriginal male was crossing Trower Road in the vicinity of Casuarina Plaza and Casuarina Square when a white tray back utility struck the male, Northern Territory Police say
Police allege the vehicle failed to stop and turned right onto Angelo Street before heading towards Gsell Street.
The vehicle was captured on CCTV a short time later heading outbound on Trower Road.
The male sustained what is believed to be serious injuries and remains in hospital.
