Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was injured in a rock throwing incident on McMillans Road this morning.
The 26-year-old driver was travelling along McMillans Road between Lee Point Road and Rothdale Road at around 2.00 am when a rock was thrown through the open driver’s side window, striking the driver in the face, Northern Territory Police say.
The driver received facial injuries which required medical treatment.
The incident was amongst several reports received by police of rock throwing in the same area between 11.50pm on Saturday night and 2.00am Sunday morning.
