Caloundra Music Festival 2019 gets underway

From today, Kings Beach will be home to four days and nights of music and activities for the whole family, starting with local favourites Gubbi Gubbi Dance.

Gates opened at noon and Gubbi Gubbi Dance performed a welcome to country on the Soul stage sharing their much loved local stories through music and dance.

Across the six stages, a further 32 performances by local and popular Aussie musos like James Reyne will lead up to Friday headliners JET (Soul stage) and Conrad Sewell (Surf stage) who play from 9pm.

The Caloundra Music Festival is an event initiative of Sunshine Coast Council and supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, and features on the It's Live! in Queensland events calendar, worth $800m to the state's economy in 2019.
