Fawkner police are investigating following the theft of a CCTV camera from a Glenroy building site earlier this month.
Investigators have been told unknown offenders attended the Daley Street site just before 5.30am on 25 January.
They took a camera from the front of the property unaware that it continued recording and transmitting images for a number of days following the theft.
Police have released images of two men and a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries
