Campbelltown Man Hits Jackpot: $2M Lotto Win

The Lott

A Campbelltown man, known affectionately by his wife as 'Mr Strike', has lived up to his nickname in the most extraordinary way, pocketing $2 million in last night's Lotto Strike draw.

The outer south-west Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Lotto Strike draw 5888 on Monday 13 July 2026. He pocketed a clean $2 million.

Coincidentally, the Lotto Strike jackpot was last won in June by a Campbelltown woman who planned to gift her parents a house with her $2 million win.

The stunned winner said he and his wife couldn't stop laughing when they realised his long-running nickname had become a reality.

"Haha! Thank you!" he cheered while speaking to us.

"It's beautiful. I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw it last night and I went crazy.

"I showed my wife and she's so happy as well. She always calls me 'Mr Strike'. It's quite fitting!

"We barely went to sleep after that. I think we must've fell asleep around 3am.

"We were too busy thinking about the house shopping we'll be doing!

"We've always been renting, so a house is our number one priority. After that, we'll do whatever comes next. Maybe a holiday.

"Thank you so much. We're so excited. Now to celebrate!"

His winning 7-game QuickPick entry was purchased online via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
