Can you help police identify this suspect and vehicle at Seaton?

Police investigating a break-in at Seaton earlier this month have released CCTV images today in a bid to identify a suspect and vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, according to SA Police.

The occupants of a Tapleys Hill Road home returned to find a man inside their property about 11am on Wednesday 4 October. The man ran off when confronted and the home owner, along with a neighbour, chased the suspect in a southerly direction along Tapleys Hill Road.

They continued to chase the man as he turned into Ballater Avenue to head east but was lost sight of at the corner of Ballater and Leven Avenues.

The victim returned to find cash and jewellery had been stolen from the home.

The man is described as 170-175cm tall, with a slim build, short dark hair and dark complexion. He had a tattoo of a letter or symbol on the back of his neck and was wearing tight fitting black and green gloves.

Detectives from Western Adelaide CIB have released CCTV footage which shows a man, believed to be the suspect, being dropped off at the intersection of Reedbeds Court and Tapleys Hill Road by a person driving a white Mitsubishi Magna sedan just prior to the break-in. The car has a distinctive black rear spoiler, a sunroof and five spoke mag wheels.

Investigators are urging anyone who knows the identity of the man in the image or has any information on this vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at http://crimestopperssa.com.au You can remain anonymous.
