Cancer Kids' Wigs Stolen in Richmond

Police are investigating a heartless theft this week, of wigs set to go to very sick kids.

Investigators have been told an unknown female entered the Lennox Street business around 3.30pm on 22 September.

All staff were busy out the back of the store when the female placed four wigs into her jacket and a bag and left the store.

The wigs were placed in reception as they were about to be taken to hospital to be given to children with cancer.

The woman is described as Caucasian with long dark coloured hair with blonde ends.

She was wearing all black clothing and was carrying a handbag.

The male waiting outside the shop for her is described as Caucasian and was wearing a white or grey beanie, black hoody, black pants and white runners.

Investigators have released images of a woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
