Cannabis crop found after house fire at Marden, SA

Police are investigating a house fire at Marden, where a cannabis crop is believed to be the cause of the blaze, according to SA Police.

Just before 4.30pm, police and MFS crews were called to a house in Battams Road after reports of a large fire.

The blaze was extinguished by fire crews, and crime scene investigators are examining the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Extensive damage was caused by the fire, with a hydroponic cannabis crop also found inside the premises.

No person was home at the time of the fire, Eastern Adelaide Police are investigating the incident.
