Cannabis crop found at Morphett Vale, South Australia

Police have arrested a man after a cannabis crop was uncovered at a house in the southern suburbs today.

Just before 9am on Friday 4 January, police searched the house on Flaxmill Road at Morphett Vale and found a number of cannabis plants being grown hydroponically.

The initial search led police to a second address in O'Halloran Hill where they seized approximately $10,000 in cash.

A 32-year-old man from O'Halloran Hill has been charged with cultivating cannabis for sale, possessing prescribed equipment, diverting electricity and unlawful possession.

He has been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 18 February 2019.
