Police have seized over 150 cannabis plants during a search of a home in Newcastle today, NSW Police say.
About 8.30am today, officers from Newcastle City Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Marshall Street, Kotara.
During the search officers located 156 mature cannabis plants being cultivated in an elaborate hydroponic set-up.
Investigators have seized the plants and a full investigation is underway.
