Car and cash stolen from Pooraka home, SA

Police are investigating a break-in and theft at a Pooraka residence this morning, according to SA Police.

Two victims were at their Carr Street home about 7am today (Wednesday 5 September) when a man entered and threatened the victims with a knife.

The victims handed over cash to the man who left in the victim’s 2010 blue Mazda 3 sedan, registration S847BNA, and drove north-west on Carr Street.

The victims were not physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20s, 173cms tall, slim build with spikey light brown hair. He was wearing three quarter length grey pants and a short sleeve t-shirt. The man has tattoos on both his lower legs and his left forearm.

Eastern District Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Carr Street and Bridge Road, Pooraka, about 7am this morning and may have seen the man or the stolen vehicle.

Police are also appealing to the public for help in locating the stolen blue Mazda 3 sedan, registration S847BNA.
