Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash in Eastwood today, NSW Police say.
About 12:40pm today, emergency services were called to Progress Avenue in Eastwood, following reports of a crash.
The driver, a 50-year-old woman, is currently in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
As a result of the collisions, a 6-year-old girl was injured. The girl was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and conveyed to hospital for further treatment.
Police from Ryde Local Area Command have established a crime scene and are currently investigating the matter.
There will be local diversions in place for several hours and police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
