Car crashes into house at Windsor Gardens, SA

Two people have had a lucky escape after a car crashed through their lounge room window at Windsor Garden this morning, according to SA Police.

Just on 11am on Friday 4 August, a white Ford Ranger ute careered out of control on McLaughlan Road, through a house fence then crashed into the lounge room of a home.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man from Parafield Gardens was taken to the Modbury Hospital for observation.

Two people inside the two storey home were fortunately at the rear of the house at the time of the crash and were uninjured in the incident.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will interview the driver at a later time.

Significant damage was caused to the home, with SES volunteers attending and assisting with removing the large ute from the front of the house and securing the premises.
