Car crashes into shop, NSW

Four people have escaped uninjured after a car crashed into a shop in Sydney’s north west overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 1am today (Saturday 15 September 2018), emergency services were called to the Old Northern Road at Castle Hill, after a Holden Commodore had mounted the kerb and crashed into the front of a restaurant.

The occupants, a 19-year-old female driver and three female passengers, were uninjured.

The driver was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.

The car was removed, leaving the shop with substantial damage.

Parties exchanged details and no further police action is expected.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
