Car fires overnight in northern suburbs, SA

Police are investigating several suspicious car fires in the northern suburbs overnight, SA Police say.

Just before 12.30am, police and MFS crews were called to the intersection of Brooks and Ryan Roads at Waterloo Corner after reports that a Holden station wagon was on fire.

The car was stolen from a Murray Bridge address, and was destroyed by the fire.

At 12.45am in Denning Avenue a Holden sedan was set alight, after it had been reported stolen from a Para Hills house.

Later this morning at 2.30am, a Mazda sedan was deliberately set on fire on North East Road at Tea Tree Gully, after it was stolen from a Surrey Downs address.

At 4.50am, a Ford sedan was set on fire in Bundarra Avenue where it had been parked.
