A woman has died and two others seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash on the state's Mid North Coast overnight.
Emergency services were called to Point Polmer Road at Crescent Head about 9.20pm (Friday 6 March 2026), after reports a vehicle had crashed into a tree.
A passenger – a 19-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.
The driver – an 18-year-old woman – and a second passenger, a 17-year-old girl, were airlifted to hospital in serious but stable conditions.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District established a crime scene and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
