Car impound in Glen Iris

Police from Prahran Highway Patrol Unit have impounded a vehicle after it was allegedly speeding in Glen Iris last night.

The driver of a Nissan Skyline was allegedly detected travelling at 150km/hour in an 80km/hour in wet conditions on the Monash Freeway on 3 October around 11pm.

The 27-year-old male driver was intercepted and had his car impounded for 30 days at a cost of $896.10.

He is expected to be summonsed to appear at court.
