Police are searching for two people involved in a robbery at Albury yesterday, NSW Police say.
Shortly after 4pm (Monday 13 August 2018), a 43-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman drove to a service station on the corner of Ebden Street and Wodonga Place where they had arranged to meet a friend.
They parked their Holden Commodore next to a Mazda 3, being driven by a woman with a man sitting in the front passenger seat.
The man got out of the Mazda and approached the driver of the Commodore; he threatened the driver and demanded his car keys while motioning to pull a firearm from the waist of his pants.
The driver and the passenger of the Commodore got out of their car before the armed man got in and drove away; the Mazda followed close behind.
Officers from Murray River Police District arrived at the service station and a full investigation is now underway.
Officers are searching for the stolen white Holden Commodore with registration plates CNZ 13B, and the driver, as well as the driver of a grey Mazda 3.
Anyone with information that may assist should contact detectives at Albury Police Station.
