Car stolen during robbery at Elizabeth Vale, South Australia

Police are searching for a car that was stolen at knifepoint at Elizabeth Vale this morning.

About 4.45am on Thursday, 15 November police were called to Trembath Road after reports that a woman had her car stolen when she was arriving at work.

The victim was threatened by a man armed with a knife, but she was not physically injured.

The suspect then drove away towards John Rice Avenue in the victim's car, a silver 2010 Holden Barina, registration of YY190R.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, aged in his mid to late 20s, slim build, and was wearing a black baseball cap, dark-coloured jumper and dark-coloured pants with white stripes on the sides, and white shoes.

Anyone who saw a man matching this description in the area, or who sees the car is asked to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
