Car stolen then crashes at Flinders Park, SA

Police are searching for up to three men in a red Mercedes after a car was stolen then crashed at Findon this afternoon, according to SA Police.

Just after 4pm on Thursday 12 July, a black Commodore sedan was stolen from a workshop on Grange Road at Flinders Park.

The owner of the Commodore saw the incident and gave chase with a witness in a Toyota Corolla.

They followed the stolen car across Grange Road and through back streets of Findon, before the suspects in the stolen Commodore rammed the pursing Toyota Corolla in Elizabeth Lane.

The stolen black Commodore then drove off but was dumped a short time later at the corner of Hammond Road and Foxgreen Avenue at Findon.

The suspects then fled the scene in a maroon/red coloured Mercedes sedan.

Fortunately there are no injuries. Both the Corolla and stolen Commodore were significantly damaged in the crash.

Police are currently searching for the red Mercedes sedan containing up to three men.
