Car theft appeal at Beenleigh

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with enquiries into the theft of a car from a car-wash facility in Beenleigh on October 25.

Initial investigations indicate the driver of a black Honda Accord sedan was washing her car at a business on Bougainville Street at 11pm, when she was approached by a man armed with a knife.

The man allegedly threatened the woman, before taking the car and was last seen driving along George Street towards Beenleigh Central.

Investigators would like to speak to the man, pictured at a nearby business shortly before the robbery and are appealing for him to come forward.

Detectives are also appealing to anyone with relevant vision, or who may have been driving on Bougainville Street between 10.30pm and 11pm, to contact them.

No further information is available at this time.

Investigations are ongoing.
