Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a second man following investigations into a traffic incident in Woolloongabba on 9 April.
It will be alleged around 7pm, a 46-year-old Yeronga man stole a 35-year-old man's white Holden utility from a Hyde Road address in Yeronga.
The theft was first reported to police later that evening after officers received information a black Ford utility was allegedly pursuing a white Holden utility whilst driving dangerously on Deshon Street, Woolloongabba.
It is alleged the vehicles continued to travel through several suburbs before crashing on Somerset Street in Rochedale South around 9.30pm, damaging a property's fence.
Responding police seized both vehicles at the scene.
The black Ford utility was not stolen.
On 11 April, investigators charged a 35-year-old man, the alleged driver of the black Ford utility, with two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and one count of affray.
He first appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 13 April.
Shortly after 3pm yesterday afternoon, 28 April, officers from Riverside Tactical Crime Squad arrested the 46-year-old man at a north Brisbane address.
He has since been charged with one count each of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle - use and receiving tainted property.
The man's police bail was refused, and he is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 29 April.
