Cardinia Seeks Input on Arts, Culture, Events Plan

We're inviting the community to help shape two new policies designed to create a thriving arts and cultural scene in our community.

Cardinia Shire Council is developing a Festivals and Events Funding Policy, which will outline how Council supports and funds future festivals and events. Additionally, a Public Art Policy is also being created to guide the planning, creation and management of public art across the shire.

To ensure these policies reflect the needs and aspirations of our community, we want to hear from everyone, whether you're a regular festival-goer, an occasional visitor to cultural events, or someone who lives, works, or spends time in Cardinia.

Throughout December, we'll be roaming around at the following events to chat and connect with our community:

  • Lang Lang Rotary Christmas Carols - 5 December 2025 | Lang Lang Memorial Hall 45 Westernport Road Lang Lang
  • Pakenham Carols - 6 December 2025 | Toomuc Recreation Reserve, Pakenham
