Cash, cigarettes stolen in mixed business robbery at Auburn

Police are appealing for information to identify a male after an overnight armed robbery at an Auburn mixed business.

Around 8.20pm yesterday (Friday 13 September 2019), a male entered the Water Road business and threatened the 73-year-old woman and her nine-year-old grand daughter with a knife.

After taking a quantity of cash and cigarettes the man has left the store.

The woman and girl showed no apparent signs of physical injury.

The male was described as wearing a black hooded top, black three-quarter length pants, white running shoes. His face was covered during the robbery .
