A man is due to appear in court today charged after a vehicle stop south of Goulburn, NSW Police say.
Officers from Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, conducting patrols under Operation Safe Return, stopped a northbound utility about 11.45am today.
After speaking with the 43-year-old male driver, officers searched the vehicle, locating a large amount of cash. It’s been seized and taken for forensic examination.
The man was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Goulburn Bail Court later tomorrow.
