Catalina playground taking off

The much anticipated Catalina playground is open.

The playground is the final installment in the development of the Catalina Park, and offers a great experience to visitors and locals.

On the edge of Lake Boga the playground complements the Museum and Cafe and gives families another reason to enjoy the stunning foreshore.

Offering something for everyone including a pod swing, multiplay equipment and a flying fox, some of the equipment is suitable for all abilities.

Heather Green, Swan Hill Rural City Council Director of Development and Planning said "the end result is sensational".

"Council staff have worked hard to roll out the playground and we are very proud of how well it has turned out," she said.

So head down to beautiful Lake Boga, check out the new playground and most importantly have some fun.

The project was partially funded by the Victorian State Government.
