Police are seeking assistance to identify the owner of a catamaran located yesterday afternoon near Hervey Bay.
Around 4pm a member of the public alerted police after they located the vessel (image below) at the mouth of Beelbi Creek, Toogoom (near Hervey Bay).
Hervey Bay Water Police inquiries are ongoing however the owner of the catamaran is yet to be identified.
Anyone who recognises the vessel is urged to contact police immediately.
