NAB Executive for Business and Private Banking, Andrew Irvine, today announced Cathryn Carver will be joining the JBWere Board as Chair effective Thursday 1 June 2023.
Ms Carver's appointment will see her take over from current Chairman, Michael Saadie, who will remain on the Board alongside Greg Braddy and Maria Lykouras.
The appointment of Ms Carver brings to JBWere over 30 years of leadership experience across various banking institutions. Ms Carver is currently NAB Executive for Client Coverage in the Bank's Corporate and Institutional Division.
Mr Irvine said he was pleased Ms Carver accepted the Board's invitation to take up the position of Chair as Mr Saadie steps down to focus on leading NAB's Private Wealth arm.

Cathryn Carver joined NAB in 2016 as Executive General Manager, Corporate & Specialised Banking and shortly after, was appointed acting Chief Customer Officer, Corporate & Institutional Banking, a position held until she was appointed to her current role.
An experienced senior finance executive, Cathryn's experience spans banking products and services, corporate finance and debt capital markets internationally and across all of Australia's major banks. Her career has focussed on the development and delivery of senior institutional client relationships on a global scale.
Cathryn also leads NAB's Affordable Housing Council and is a member of the NAB Ventures Investment Committee and Chief Executive Women (CEW). As a leader, Cathryn is passionate about developing people to take on more challenging and future leadership roles. Cathryn believes one of the most important aspects of building an adaptive and sustainable organisation is diversity of talent, thought and perspectives.
