CBD graffiti suspect sought, South Australia

Eastern Adelaide Police are seeking information from the public following a brazen graffiti attack in Rundle Mall and on numerous CBD businesses overnight.

At about 12.20am on Sunday 28 October, a male suspect is caught on security cameras in Rundle Mall, vandalising the "malls balls" with graffiti, using red spray paint.

The man has then continued the graffiti attack as he walked south on Gawler Place, then turned west down Grenfell Street, spraying red graffiti on more than 10 shop windows.

The male suspect described as Caucasian, aged between 18-20-years, about 178cms tall, medium build, with dark coloured hair wearing blue jeans and carrying a black backpack with a yellow panel. At the time of the offending he wasn't wearing a shirt, however he was wearing a black or dark blue t-shirt with writing on the front prior to the offending.

CCTV images released from Rundle Mall show the suspect prior to the graffiti, while the video clip shows the suspect spraying graffiti on shop windows in Gawler Place.

Police believe numerous people in Rundle Mall may have witnessed the offending and ask anyone with information on the incident or the suspect including any mobile phone vision or photos to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
