CCTV appeal after serious assault - Police Transport Command

Police have released CCTV images as they continue to investigate a serious assault on a train in the state's north earlier this year.

About 8pm on Monday 5 April 2021 a 47-year-old man was seriously assaulted on a country train service at Grafton.

Officers from the Police Transport Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, they have released CCTV images of man who maybe able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 160-170cm tall, of medium build with black hair and beard.

He was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, white shirt, black Adidas jumper, black shorts and red shoes.
