CCTV images released after man assaulted in Broken Hill

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following an assault in Broken Hill late last month.

About 3am on Sunday 27 February 2022, a man was assaulted outside a licenced premise on Argent Street, Broken Hill.

Officers attached to Barrier Police District attended and were told a 24-year-old man was assaulted by a man not known to him.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Broken Hill Hospital in a stable condition.

An investigation commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As those investigations continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20's, with tattoos on his neck. He is depicted wearing a blue shirt and blue baseball cap.
