CCTV images released following a jewellery theft in Roselands

Police are appealing for information following a stealing at a jewellery store in Sydney’s south-west earlier this month, NSW Police say.

Police were called to a shopping centre in Roselands just after 3.30pm on Saturday 14 August 2016, following reports a woman entered the store and allegedly stole a ring valued at $8500.

Officers from Campsie Local Area Command are continuing with inquiries and have now released CCTV images and footage of a person who they believe can assist with inquires.

The person depicted is described as being female, of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, approximately 160cm tall, of large build, medium length brown hair, appeared to walk with limp, and is described as speaking with an Eastern European accent.

She is depicted wearing a white striped jumper, black pants, and a grey scarf.

Police are urging the person in the images or anyone who recognises her to contact police.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
