CCTV released after aggravated break-in near Picton, NSW

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated break and enter south-west of Sydney overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 11pm (Thursday 9 November 2017), a 21-year-old man was alone at a business on The Oaks Road, Thirlmere, when two men broke in.

The man was assaulted before the men stole cash and cigarettes and fled.

Officers from Camden Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for lacerations to his head before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital.

Investigators have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being Caucasian appearance. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with white motif on chest and white ‘bad boy’ motif on the back, black pants, and a black beanie featuring white motif.

The second man is described as wearing dark clothing.

Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to this incident to come forward.
