CCTV released after jewellery stolen at Penrith

Investigators have released CCTV vision and are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen from a shopping centre in Sydney's west earlier this year.

Police have been told an unknown man broke into two storage cages at the shopping centre on High Street, Penrith, and stole several items of jewellery about 10.30pm on Wednesday 16 September 2020.

The man left the scene with the jewellery in a trolley.

As part of investigations into the robbery, detectives from Nepean Police Area Command have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build and average height, with a goatee. At the time, he was wearing a light grey Everlast hooded jumper, cream pants, black shoes and a black cap.
