CCTV Released Amid Kingswood Crash Investigation

Police have released CCTV as investigations continue into a serious motorcycle crash in Sydney's west last weekend.

About 5pm on Sunday (27 April 2025), emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway, Kingswood, following reports a motorcycle had crashed into a power pole.

The rider - a 23-year-old man - and his pillion passenger - a 22-year-old man - were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital. They both remain in a critical condition.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene, which was forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

Following inquiries, crash investigators have released CCTV of a motorcycle travelling east on the Great Western Highway shortly after the crash.

Police believe the rider of the motorcycle may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The motorcycle depicted in the CCTV is blue in colour, with the rider seen wearing a grey jumper and black helmet.
