CCTV released following assault in Sydney

Police have release CCTV images and are appealing for information following an assault in the Sydney CBD earlier this month, NSW Police say.

Just before 3am on Saturday the 8 April, 2017 a 34-year-old man approached three males and started a conversation, before a physical altercation took place.

The three men fled the scene and were last seen walking south on George Street.

The 34-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for injuries to body and face, before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital

Officers attached to Sydney City Local Area Command have commenced an investigation, and would like to speak to three men who might be able to assist.

The first man has been described to police as being of Asian appearance and believed to be about 30. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with beige jeans and black shoes.

The other two men have been described to police as also being of Asian appearance and about 30. They were both seen wearing a black jacket/jumper with a black shirt and dark jeans.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
