CCTV released in appeal for information after robbery - Croydon Park

Police have released CCTV vision in an appeal for public assistance following a robbery earlier this week.

About 8.30am on Monday (21 November 2022), a 68-year-old man was walking on Croydon Avenue at Croydon Park, when two males assaulted him and stole his wallet.

The 68-year-old man suffered facial injuries and fractured ribs during the assault.

Two unknown women found the man lying on the ground and assisted him with contacting family and getting home.

Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV images of a black Toyota Hilux whose occupants may be able to assist with inquiries.

Police would also like to speak with the two females who assisted the man.

Anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or information into the incident, is urged to come forward.
