CCTV released over break-ins at businesses at Thirlmere

Police are appealing for public assistance after three stores were broken into in the state's Macarthur region today.

Just before 4am (Thursday 9 January 2020), police have been told an unknown man tried to break into a store in Westbourne Avenue at Thirlmere.

When he could not get in, the man then walked over to Oak Street and broke into two separate businesses; stealing cash and documentation.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation.

He has been described as between 173-188cm tall, between 80-90kg, had his face covered and was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, grey tracksuit pants and blue or black running shoes.
