Orange Council
Orange City Council has been unsuccessful in a search for a new CEO.
A council meeting will be held this Friday to discuss an interim CEO until the recruitment process can recommence.
Orange Mayor Tony Mileto said it was crucial to get this appointment right.
"We will use the additional time we now have to make sure we get the best possible outcome for the Orange community," Cr Mileto said.
Outgoing CEO David Waddell announced in March this year he would not seek a contract extension.
