CFA has continued to assist NSW communities in fighting fires up north this weekend.
Victoria sent a strike team of 18 CFA firefighters, predominately from District 13, as well as three Incident Management Team members and three Fire Behaviour Analysts from CFA, were deployed to the Glen Innes area to assist in the NSW bushfires yesterday.
Victoria has sent more than 280 people interstate over the last two months, including incident management personnel, strike teams, task forces, liaison personnel and aviation specialists.
A crew of 18 CFA firefighters have also departed earlier today around 2pm to the Kempsey area.
They were also joined by a DELWP taskforce
This will mean Victoria will have around 80 people currently working in NSW.
