Carnival on Collins will be staged at the Botanic Gardens, Tanks Arts Centre and along Collins Ave, Edge Hill, on Sunday 7 September from 9am to 2pm.
Council advises of the following road closures on Sunday associated with the staging of the event:
- Collins Ave, from McLean St to Mayers St, from 5am to 6pm
- McCormack St, from Collins Ave to Walsh St, 5am to 6pm
- Goodwin St, from McCormack St to Macdonnell St, 5am to 6pm
- Walsh St, from McCormack St to Macdonnell St, from 5am to 6pm
- Friend St, from Collins Ave to Walsh St, from 5am to 6pm
Residents and traders are asked to observe and obey traffic controllers and signs advising the changes to normal traffic conditions, and follow detours as sign posted.
