Changes to National Parks during three-day lockdown

Anyone planning on visiting National Parks and state forests in the greater Brisbane region should monitor Park Alerts following the latest COVID three-day lockdown directive.

The Greater Brisbane region is affected which includes Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton and Redlands.

National Parks and forests will remain accessible for people who live nearby for exercise. However, everyone should follow the Chief Health Officer's directions.

The lockdown will also mean Walkabout Creek Wildlife Centre and Daisy Hill Koala Centre will both be closed until at least Saturday, taking into account Good Friday.

The changes will come into effect from 5pm this afternoon and reflects advice from the Queensland's Chief Health Officer to ensure the health and safety of staff, visitors and the wider Queensland community.

People who have bookings and can't use them will be able to apply for a refund.
