Chapel Street Plaza and Hindmarsh Lane redevelopment gets green light

The first phase of a redevelopment of Jetty Road Glenelg has been given the go-ahead with confirmation of $1.8million funding from State Government and $2million from the City of Holdfast Bay.

The upgrade of Chapel Street and Hindmarsh Lane will deliver a new plaza and a local community hub. It is the first phase of the Jetty Road Glenelg Masterplan to increase visitation to Jetty Road and cement Glenelg's position as South Australia's busiest suburban retail strip and premier foreshore tourism destination.

The Minister for Planning has approved $1.8million in funding for the Chapel Street Plaza and Hindmarsh Lane redevelopment from the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure's Planning and Development Fund.
