A 29-year-old male has been charged with the aggravated assault of a 31-year-old female at Warruwi.
The assault is alleged to have occurred yesterday, with the victim medivacked to Darwin yesterday evening with numerous facial injuries, cuts and bruising to her body and possible fractures, Northern Territory Police say.
The male was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court tomorrow morning, charged with assault person who suffered harm and deprive a person of personal liberty.
