Charges - Darwin Property Offences

Northern Territory Police have arrested seven people following a crime series in Darwin and Palmerston over the long weekend.

On Saturday, 5 May, officers arrested two females, aged 17 and 18, following a stolen vehicle pursuit. The females were apprehended with the aid of a tyre deflation device. The stolen vehicle is also alleged to have been involved in an unlawful entry in Zuccoli where three males are believed to have fled the area. Police are still looking to speak with them, Northern Territory Police say.

One female was released on bail and is due to appear in court on 31 May.

She has been charged with:

  • Unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • Stealing

The second female was released for youth diversion.

On Monday, 7 May, police arrested two males, aged 18 and 16, when they were located inside a Nakara property. They were remanded to today’s date.

They were charged with:

  • Unlawful entry
  • Damage to property
  • Stealing

Another three females, aged 13, 17, and 18 were arrested today after being located in a stolen vehicle which was allegedly taken from Fannie Bay. They are assisting police with their inquiries.
