Charges – Drug Offences – Darwin

Officers from the Drug and Organised Crime Division have charged a 41-year-old female with drug offences.

Around 9:30am yesterday police conducted a traffic apprehension on a vehicle on Lee Point Road.

A search of the vehicle located $7090 cash, an ice pipe and indicia of drug supply.

Police then conducted a search warrant at an address in Lee Point where they located 5.1 grams of methamphetamine. Various electronic products for which the woman could not prove ownership were also located.

The woman has been charged with:

• Possess schedule 1 dangerous drug - traffickable

• Supply schedule 1 dangerous drug - less than commercial

• Possess thing to administer dangerous drug

• Receive property commission of offence (tainted property)

She is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
