Charges – Fatal traffic crash in Forest Glen, QLD

Police investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Forest Glen on February 17, have charged a man, Queensland Police say.

Around 6.45pm, a vehicle was travelling on the Bruce Highway when it allegedly lost control, mounted an embankment and rolled, landing on its roof.

A 21-year-old Goodna man died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old Spring Hill man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death whilst adversely affected and driving under the influence of liquor.

He will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on June 26.
