Charges in relation to police car struck in Moe

La Trobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a teenager following an alleged petrol theft and collision with a police car in Moe on 1 July, Victoria Police say.

The 17-year-old Newborough boy has been charged with 14 offences including evade police, reckless damage to emergency services vehicle and reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving.

He has been bailed to appear in a children’s court at a later date.
