Charges laid after man supplies MDMA for distribution at dance parties in Homebush

A man will face court next month after allegedly supplying MDMA for distribution at two dance parties in Sydney, NSW Police say.

Officers from Wetherill Park Region Enforcement Squad (RES) with assistance from drug detection dogs, attended two separate dance parties at Sydney Showground on Saturday 21 April and Saturday 5 May 2018.

Following investigations, Wetherill Park RES arrested a 25-year-old man this morning (Wednesday 16 May 2018) on Campbell Street, Berala.

He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug indictable quantity.

Police will allege in court the 25-year-old man supplied more than 400 MDMA tablets for distribution at Midnight Mafia and A State of Trance dance parties.

The man, from Chester Hill, was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday 7 June 2018.
