Charges laid in drug supply investigation in Kempsey

Police have charged a man over allegedly supplying drugs on the state’s Mid North Coast, NSW Police say.

About 4:30pm yesterday (Tuesday 30 October 2018), police from Mid North Coast Police District executed a search warrant at a property on Albert Street, South Kempsey.

Officers seized several items including drugs believed to be heroin, cash, a homemade electronic stun device, and stolen property.

A 45-year-old man was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug (x2), supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited weapon, deal with proceeds of crime, and receive stolen property

He was refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today (Wednesday, 31 October 2018)
